Little Jasmine had just finished her bath, wrapped warmly and sitting quietly for a moment.
But then—
She noticed Mom giving attention to the smaller baby nearby.
Instantly, Jasmine’s whole expression changed.
Her tiny pout appeared.
Brows lowered.
Eyes filled with jealousy and frustration.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Jasmine exploded into loud angry screaming.
She waved her tiny hands dramatically while staring directly at Mom, clearly upset that someone else was getting attention after bath time instead of her.
Poor moody baby wanted ALL the cuddles for herself.
“MAMAAA!”
She screamed louder and louder while stomping her tiny feet and crying with hurt feelings. Every second Mom stayed busy with the small baby made Jasmine even more emotional.
She didn’t want to wait.
She wanted comfort NOW.
Mom tried calming her softly. “Jasmine, wait a little, baby.”
But Jasmine answered with another dramatic scream, her tiny face turning red from all the crying and jealousy.
Finally, Mom hurried over and picked Jasmine up into warm arms.
Instant calm.
The loud screaming slowly softened into tiny sniffles as Jasmine rested against Mom’s chest, finally getting the attention she had been demanding.
Still pouty.
Still clingy.
But happy again.
Because sometimes, little babies don’t understand sharing attention—
