Little Bella sat quietly with a tiny pout on her face.
Something had gone wrong, and Mom had just finished scolding her gently after blaming her for bothering the smaller little one. Even though the moment wasn’t harsh, Bella’s tiny heart still felt heavy.
Her eyes looked down.
Her little shoulders drooped.
She stayed unusually quiet.
Mom pointed softly and said, “Bella… be gentle with the baby.”
Bella didn’t argue.
But her face slowly filled with sadness as she realized Mom was upset with her. To her tiny heart, even simple discipline felt very emotional.

A soft, pitiful cry escaped her.

Not dramatic.
Just hurt feelings.
She looked toward the little baby, then back at Mom, almost like she didn’t fully understand what she had done wrong but still felt blamed and left out.

She only wanted attention too.
Mom noticed the sadness immediately and softened her voice. She gently crouched down closer to Bella and rubbed her tiny head.
“It’s okay… just be nice to the little one.”
Bella sniffled softly, still pouting but slowly leaning into Mom’s touch. The warmth and comfort helped her heavy feelings ease little by little.
Soon, she quietly stayed beside Mom again, calmer now and no longer feeling alone.
