Bath time had become part of little Taki’s routine—
Even if he still acted dramatic sometimes.
The warm water was ready, soft towels nearby, and Mom carefully prepared the gentle shampoo for his tiny fluffy head.
At first, Taki looked curious.
He sat quietly while Mom slowly poured a little warm water over him, making sure he stayed comfortable and calm.
Then came the shampoo.
Mom rubbed a tiny amount between her hands first before gently massaging it into Taki’s soft fur. Small bubbles appeared around his head, making him blink in surprise.
“Eh… mm…”
Tiny confused sounds escaped him as he tried to understand the foamy feeling.
Mom smiled softly. “Good boy, Taki.”
She carefully cleaned around his little ears, tiny neck, and fluffy head with slow, gentle touches. Taki squirmed slightly now and then, especially when the bubbles tickled him.
At one point, he shook his head dramatically, trying to escape the foam.
Splash!
Mom laughed softly while holding him securely. “Almost done!”
The warm water rinsed away the bubbles slowly, leaving his fur clean, soft, and fresh again. Once the shampoo was gone, Taki finally relaxed, realizing the strange routine wasn’t so scary after all.
After the bath, Mom wrapped him in a warm towel and gently dried his tiny body.
Fresh.
Fluffy.
Comfortable.
Taki rested quietly against her chest, looking sleepy and peaceful now that everything was finished.
Because sometimes, even simple little routines like shampoo time—
Become moments filled with patience, care, and love for a tiny growing baby.
