Bath time had barely started—
And little Lumi was already unhappy.
The moment Mom placed her near the warm water, Lumi’s tiny face twisted into a deep pout. Her brows tightened, her lips trembled, and her little body stiffened with pure baby attitude.
She did not approve.
Not today.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Lumi burst into loud temper crying.
Her tiny legs kicked sharply while her hands pushed against the water, splashing dramatically as tears rolled down her cheeks. Every little touch of water seemed to make her mood even worse.
She didn’t want bubbles.
She didn’t want washing.
She wanted bath time to end immediately.
“Mama! Mama!”
Her cries sounded sharp and emotional as she twisted her tiny body away from the shampoo and warm cloth.
Mom stayed calm, trying to soothe her gently. “It’s okay, baby Lumi… almost done.”
But Lumi answered with another loud scream, clearly refusing to cooperate.
The more Mom tried to wash her tiny arms and feet, the more dramatic Lumi became—pouting, whining, and throwing her little temper all over the bathtub.
Still, Mom stayed patient.
Slow hands.
Gentle voice.
Soft splashes.
Little by little—
Lumi’s loud cries softened into grumpy sniffles.
The warm water started feeling less scary.
Less annoying.
And once the bath was finally over, Mom wrapped her quickly in a soft towel and held her close.
Instant calm.
Lumi rested against her chest, still looking slightly offended—but safe, warm, and comforted again.
Because sometimes, for a tiny moody baby—
