Ronaldo Refuses to Accept the New Newborn Baby

The house felt different that day.

Everyone’s attention was focused on the tiny newborn baby monkey wrapped carefully in soft blankets. Mom held the little one gently, speaking softly and giving all her care to the fragile new arrival.

But nearby—

Ronaldo watched everything.

Quietly.

His tiny face slowly changed as he stared at the newborn in Mom’s arms. Usually, he was the one getting all the cuddles, all the attention, all the love.

Now someone else was there.

A new member.

And Ronaldo didn’t like it.

His lips pushed forward into a deep pout, his eyes filled with sadness and confusion. He looked at Mom… then at the baby… then away again.

Then—

“AHHHH!”

He suddenly cried loudly.

Not because he was hurt.

Not because he was hungry.

But because his little heart felt replaced.

He reached both arms toward Mom, crying harder as if asking—

“What about me?”

Mom tried to comfort him. “Ronaldo… this is baby.”

But Ronaldo turned his face away stubbornly, clearly refusing to accept the situation. Every time Mom looked at the newborn, Ronaldo cried louder, wanting all her attention back on him.

He didn’t understand sharing love yet.

To him, the new baby felt like competition.

A threat to his special place.

Mom gently moved closer and hugged Ronaldo too, making sure he still felt important and loved.

“You’re still my big baby,” she whispered softly.

Ronaldo sniffled sadly, still pouting, but slowly leaning into her warmth.

Because sometimes, for a little heart—

Welcoming someone new feels scary at first—

Especially when all you really want is reassurance that you’re still loved the same way.
