Sleepy Little Lulu Cries Softly for Dad’s Comfort

Comments Off on Sleepy Little Lulu Cries Softly for Dad’s Comfort

The room was quiet, but Lulu couldn’t settle.

Her tiny eyes were heavy, blinking slowly, her small body swaying with pure exhaustion. She was so sleepy—

But she couldn’t fall asleep alone.

Her lips trembled.

Her little hands reached forward weakly.

Then—

“Mm… eh…”

A soft, pitiful cry escaped her.

Not loud.

Not angry.

Just tired.

So very tired.

Her head dropped slightly as she tried to stay awake, her tiny body struggling between sleep and the need for comfort. She looked around, searching with half-closed eyes.

Where was Dad?

Why wasn’t he here?

Another soft cry followed, a little shakier this time. Her chest rose slowly, her whole body asking for one thing—

Help me sleep.

Dad heard her.

He came quickly, kneeling beside her.

“Oh, Lulu…” he whispered gently.

The moment she saw him, her small cries continued, but softer now, like she knew comfort was finally near. She lifted her arms just a little, asking to be held.

He picked her up carefully.

Instant change.

Her body relaxed against his chest, her tiny hands resting peacefully as she leaned into the warmth she needed.

No more struggle.

No more searching.

Just comfort.

He gently rocked her, slow and steady.

Within moments—

Her eyes closed.

Her breathing softened.

Sleep finally came.

Because sometimes, when a tiny baby is too sleepy to fight anymore—

All they need is the right arms to fall asleep in.
