The little newborn was already in a mood.
Her tiny face looked tense, lips pushed forward, eyes slightly watery like something just didn’t feel right. Maybe the air was too cool… maybe something tickled her nose…
Whatever it was—
She didn’t like it.
At all.
Then—
“Aaah…!”
A tiny buildup.
“A-CHOO!”
A sudden little sneeze burst out.
Her whole body jerked slightly from the surprise. For a second, she froze, blinking in confusion.
What just happened?
But before she could recover—
Another one.
“A-CHOO!”
Now she was upset.
Her face scrunched up even more, her tiny brows tightening as frustration mixed with the strange feeling. And then—
“AHHHHH!”
She started crying loudly.
Her small body shook as she waved her hands, clearly annoyed and uncomfortable. The sneezing, the feeling in her nose, the confusion—it was all too much for such a tiny baby.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she cried sharper, louder, like she was protesting everything at once.
“Mama…!”
Her cries called for help.
Mom rushed over quickly. “Oh, baby… what happened?” she said softly.
She gently picked her up, holding her close and wiping her tiny nose with a soft cloth. The warmth of Mom’s arms helped immediately.
The crying softened.
The tension eased.
No more sneezing for the moment.
The newborn leaned into her, still a bit grumpy, still a bit confused—but calmer now.
Because sometimes, even something as small as a sneeze—
Can feel like a big, upsetting mystery to a tiny newborn.
