Little LeDuc Shouts Loudly When Mom Leaves Him

The moment Mom stepped away—

Everything changed.

Little LeDuc watched her go, his tiny eyes following every movement. At first, he just stared, as if hoping she would turn back.

But she didn’t.

She kept walking.

And for LeDuc, that felt like the biggest mistake in the world.

His lips trembled.

His brows tightened.

His tiny hands lifted slightly, unsure… then desperate.

Then—

“AHHHHH!”

He exploded into loud shouting.

His voice echoed through the space, sharp and full of emotion as tears rushed down his cheeks. His small body shook as he cried harder, reaching forward like he could pull Mom back to him.

“Mama! Mama!”

He shouted again, louder this time.

He didn’t want distance.

He didn’t want space.

He wanted her right there.

Now.

His cries grew more intense, his face turning red as he leaned forward, almost losing balance in his urgency. To him, even a short separation felt like being left behind.

Mom tried to reassure him from a distance. “I’m right here, baby…”

But LeDuc couldn’t accept it.

He screamed again, louder, his tiny heart overwhelmed with panic and sadness.

Finally—

Mom came back.

The moment he saw her returning, his cries became even louder for a brief second—like releasing everything at once. His arms lifted high, asking for immediate comfort.

She picked him up.

Instant calm.

His loud shouting melted into soft sniffles as he buried his face into her shoulder, holding tightly like he had been rescued.

Mom gently rocked him. “I didn’t go far…”

But for LeDuc, it had felt like forever.

Because sometimes, for a tiny heart—

Even a small step away feels like a big goodbye.
