Little Baboo Cries on the Floor, Waiting for Daddy

Comments Off on Little Baboo Cries on the Floor, Waiting for Daddy

The room felt heavy with tiny heartbreak.

Little Baboo lay on the floor, his small body trembling with emotion. His eyes were fixed on Daddy, who was nearby—but not picking him up.

And that was all it took.

His lips quivered.

His face turned red.

Then—

“AHHHHH!”

Baboo burst into loud, angry crying.

Tears streamed down his cheeks as he rolled slightly on the floor, kicking his little legs and waving his hands desperately. His cries filled the room, sharp and full of frustration.

He didn’t want toys.

He didn’t want to sit there.

He wanted Daddy.

Now.

“Dada! Dada!”

He cried again, reaching both tiny arms upward, begging to be lifted. His whole body shook with each sob, like his heart couldn’t understand why Daddy wasn’t coming.

To Baboo, this felt unfair.

Why wasn’t he being picked up?

Why was he still on the floor?

His cries grew louder, more dramatic, each one carrying the same message—

Please hold me.

Daddy looked over, trying to stay calm. “Just a moment…”

But Baboo couldn’t wait.

He cried even harder, his tiny voice cracking, his face full of sadness and anger mixed together.

Finally—

Daddy couldn’t resist anymore.

He walked over and bent down, scooping Baboo into his arms.

Instantly, everything changed.

The loud screams softened into shaky little sniffles as Baboo clung tightly, burying his face into Daddy’s chest.

Safe.

Warm.

Home.

Daddy gently rocked him. “There you are…”

And Baboo held on, as if he never wanted to be put down again.

Because sometimes, the biggest need in a tiny heart—

Is simply to be held.
