Jasmine’s Loud Jealous Cry After Baby’s Bath

The house was quiet after bath time for the smallest baby. Mom had just finished gently washing the tiny newborn and wrapping the little one in a soft warm towel. The baby lay comfortably in Mom’s arms, calm and sleepy after the bath.

But not everyone was happy.

Across the room, Jasmine watched everything carefully. Her eyes followed Mom and the small baby the entire time. At first, she only sat quietly, but the more she saw Mom focusing on the newborn, the more her little face changed.

Suddenly, Jasmine let out a very loud scream.

Her angry cry echoed through the room. She stomped her tiny hands on the floor and shouted again, clearly upset. Jasmine didn’t like that Mom was giving all the attention to the small baby.

Mom looked over quickly and tried to calm her down, but Jasmine was already in a jealous mood. She stood up and screamed even louder, her face scrunched with frustration. To Jasmine, it felt unfair. She wanted Mom’s attention too.

While Mom continued drying the newborn, Jasmine’s dramatic cries continued. She rolled a little on the floor, kicking her feet in a small tantrum. Her loud voice seemed to say, “Don’t forget me!”

Finally, Mom walked over while still holding the little baby and gently spoke to Jasmine. She reached out and touched Jasmine’s head softly.

That small moment of attention immediately changed Jasmine’s mood.

Her loud screams slowly turned into quiet sniffles. She moved closer and leaned against Mom’s leg, still a little jealous but feeling better now that Mom noticed her again.

Sometimes big emotions come from small hearts.

And Jasmine’s loud scream wasn’t just anger—it was simply her way of asking Mom to love her too.
