Little Rojo had been patiently waiting for his mother. Sitting near the corner, he looked around with curious eyes, hoping she would return soon. The room was quiet, and the only thing beside him was a small bucket filled with water.
At first, Rojo simply watched it. The surface of the water moved slightly, reflecting light in a way that caught his attention. Curious as always, he slowly leaned closer. His tiny hands reached toward the rim of the bucket, trying to see what was inside.
But Rojo was still very small.
As he leaned forward a bit too far, his balance slipped. In a sudden moment, his little body tipped over the edge.
Splash!
Rojo fell right into the bucket of water.
Startled and frightened, he immediately began to struggle. His tiny arms flailed as he tried to push himself up, water splashing everywhere. His cries filled the room, sharp and panicked. The cold water shocked him, and he didn’t understand what had just happened.
His small body was soaked, his fur clinging to his skin as he tried desperately to climb out.
Luckily, his cries were heard quickly. Mom rushed over immediately, her heart racing when she saw poor Rojo inside the bucket. Without hesitation, she lifted him out of the water and held him tightly.
Rojo clung to her right away, shaking and whimpering from the scare. Water dripped from his tiny body while Mom wrapped him in a warm towel, gently rubbing him to keep him warm.
Slowly, his cries faded into soft sniffles.
Rojo pressed his wet face against Mom’s chest, finally feeling safe again. What started as simple waiting turned into a scary little accident, but Mom was there in time.
After a warm cuddle, Rojo relaxed completely—safe, dry, and back where he belonged.
