Morning Tears Turn Bath Time Into Drama

Comments Off on Morning Tears Turn Bath Time Into Drama

The morning had barely begun when the drama started. A Tong was supposed to take a warm, comforting bath, but instead, the bathroom filled with loud cries and protest. The warm water steamed gently, peaceful and inviting, yet A Tong wanted nothing to do with it.

The moment mom tried to place him near the bath, A Tong screamed. His voice echoed sharply, full of emotion and resistance. He clung tightly to her arm, eyes wide with panic, as if the water were something dangerous instead of soothing. His little body stiffened, tail wrapping around himself, refusing to cooperate.

Mom stayed calm. She tested the water again, showing him it was warm, not hot. She spoke softly, explaining, comforting, promising it would feel good. But A Tong was deep in his feelings. Morning moods were always the hardest. Still sleepy, still hungry, still sensitive—everything felt too much.

When his feet touched the water, he cried louder, kicking and splashing in anger. Tears rolled down his cheeks, mixing with water droplets. His cries weren’t about the bath at all. They were about control, about not being ready, about wanting comfort instead of routines.

Mom held him firmly but gently, keeping him safe. She didn’t rush. She poured warm water slowly over his back, letting him feel the heat, letting his body adjust. A Tong fought for a moment longer, then slowly, something changed.

His cries softened. His breathing slowed.

The warmth wrapped around him, easing the tension in his muscles. His stiff body relaxed. He leaned back slightly, eyes blinking, confusion replacing anger. Mom continued washing him carefully, her hands steady and loving.

Soon, the drama faded. A Tong stopped crying and sat quietly, letting the water run over him. He even splashed once, curious now, the fear gone. His earlier screams felt far away.

By the time the bath ended, A Tong was calm, clean, and tired. He rested against mom, peaceful at last. What began as the most dramatic morning moment ended with warmth, patience, and love—proving once again that even the biggest emotions can melt away with gentle care.
