Poor little Chamroeun had just finished his bath, but instead of feeling fresh and happy, his tiny body began to tremble. Drops of water still clung to his soft fur, and the cool air made him shiver from head to toe. He stood there helplessly, his eyes wide and searching for comfort, waiting for Daddy to come.
Every second felt long for Chamroeun. His little arms wrapped tightly around himself as though trying to keep warm, his teeth almost chattering from the chill. He didn’t make much noise, but his expression said everything—fear, discomfort, and the desperate hope that Daddy would notice him soon.
Finally, Daddy came closer, his heart breaking at the sight of his little one standing so pitifully after the bath. Chamroeun looked up, his body still shaking, as if begging silently, “Please, Daddy, help me. Don’t leave me like this.” Daddy moved quickly, wrapping a soft towel around Chamroeun and rubbing his small body gently to bring back the warmth.
As the towel absorbed the water and Daddy’s hands worked with care, Chamroeun slowly began to relax. His trembling eased, his eyes softened, and he leaned into Daddy’s touch. What started as a scary and cold moment turned into a tender scene of love, where Daddy’s presence made Chamroeun feel safe again.
For a baby monkey so sensitive and fragile, even something as simple as a bath can feel overwhelming. But with Daddy’s gentle care, Chamroeun knew he was never alone—he would always be protected, warmed, and loved.
