It was supposed to be a calm and gentle bath for little baby Yuri. Mom carried her down to the cool pond, holding her carefully in her arms. The water rippled softly as Yuri splashed with her tiny hands, enjoying the refreshing moment. Her curious eyes sparkled, and for a short while, everything seemed peaceful.
But suddenly—out of the clear water—a very big fish swam closer and closer! The shadow of its wide body moved beneath the surface, circling near Yuri and Mom. The little one froze for a moment, her eyes wide, not fully understanding what was happening. Then came the cry—loud, sharp, and full of fear. Baby Yuri clung tightly to Mom, her little arms wrapping around her as though she was begging, “Don’t let it come near me!”
Mom stayed calm, though her heart skipped at the sight. She quickly shifted Yuri higher in her arms, whispering comfort while keeping a close watch on the unexpected visitor. The fish lifted its head for a moment, breaking the surface, and its size made Yuri scream even louder. Her tiny body shook, frightened that the strange creature had come to “meet” her during bath time.
Gently, Mom splashed the water to move the fish away, and soon it swam off into the deeper part of the pond. Yuri’s crying slowed, but she still clung to Mom’s chest, refusing to let go. Her bath had turned into an unforgettable moment of fear and surprise.
What began as a simple routine became a dramatic little adventure—one that showed just how small and vulnerable Yuri was, and how much she trusted Mom’s arms to keep her safe from everything, even a big curious fish.
