Jenny’s Pig-Tailed Monkey Startles Everyone

The quiet afternoon at the home was peaceful. Jenny’s little pig-tailed monkey had been sitting calmly on her lap, nibbling at a tiny piece of fruit. His eyes looked sleepy, his tail curled gently around her arm, and Jenny thought he was about to drift into a nap.

But then, without warning, he opened his mouth wide and let out a sudden, sharp scream! The sound echoed through the room so loudly that Jenny nearly dropped the fruit she was holding. Her heart jumped as she looked down at her baby monkey, who was now stomping his little hands and staring straight at her with determination.

“What happened, sweetheart?” Jenny asked softly, still recovering from the surprise.

The monkey continued to shout, his voice strong and demanding. It wasn’t anger, but more like a desperate call for attention. Jenny quickly realized—he wasn’t sleepy at all. He was hungry! His little belly rumbled, and he wasn’t willing to wait another second for his milk.

Jenny hurried to prepare the warm bottle. As soon as the baby monkey saw it, his cries became even louder, shaking his tiny head impatiently. When the nipple touched his lips, silence filled the room again. He drank eagerly, gripping the bottle with both hands as though he never wanted to let it go.

Jenny sighed with relief and laughed softly. “You really scared me, little one. Next time, don’t shout so suddenly!” she whispered, stroking his soft fur.

The baby monkey finished drinking and then cuddled back into her arms, his earlier outburst forgotten. Jenny smiled, realizing how much this little life depended on her care. Every sudden cry, every shout, was his way of saying, “Please don’t forget me, Mom.”
